The Prince Charles Pipe Band, sponsored by the Caledonian Club of San Francisco, is dedicated to teaching youth and promoting excellence in the art of Scottish bagpiping and drumming. We have the longest-running active youth piping & drumming instructional program on the West Coast.

Since its founding in 1967, the Band has competed at all grade levels in the US, Canada and Scotland with much success including World Championships in 2000 & 2003.  Currently, the Band fields a grade 4 competition band and a grade 5 juvenile competition band, both of which are registered with the Western United States Pipe Band Association (WUSPBA.) Our grade 4 band earned the title of North American Champions in August 2024.
